Présentation
Consultez le descriptif de la formation en Français.
The international master « Elecrical Engineering Systems » is a 24 month course. Half of the teachings are in English and half are in French.
Focused on areas of Electrical Energy Systems dedicated to several industrial applications, this ambitious program offers an attractive societally asked expertise to design new power electronic systems and modern, innovative structures of electromechanical converters. It develops sustainable strategies of energy management for electrical systems with multi-sources and multi-loads. The novel concepts of control and diagnostic methodologies are proposed for smart actuators, smart grids and smart standalone systems.
All teachers are researchers of the laboratories affiliated to French National Scientific Research Center (CNRS): Plasma and Energy Conversion Laboratory (LAPLACE), Chemical Engineering Laboratory (LGC) and Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS).
A significant number of lectures and projects are made with participation of Industrial R&D partners such as: Airbus, Thales ALENIA SPACE, Actia, Continental, EDF, GDF, SUEZ, CEA, ADEME, Liebherr Aerospace, Airbus Defense Space, SNCF. Relationship with industry is strengthened by industrial projects and long internships (6 months).
Learners will beneficiate of a personal advising of the education program throughout all the duration of the Master.
Objectifs
To provide students with knowledge in the different areas of Electrical Engineering Systems. Applications are related to energy production, storage, conversion and transportation in the domains such as: embedded systems (aeronautic, space, vehicular, railway traction, naval), grids, smart grids, energy dispatching, process controls, automations, monitoring, diagnostics, medical applications...
